First Ley the dragon and Chalu the gryphon emerged independently.
But when *Mikaley and me became a couple this two characters did the same. In their world it (love between to different species) often shall be deemed to be a notorious affair like homosexuality in our reality. So it's not the "norm".
The gryphon never thougth that she will be in love with a dragon. Like me. I never thought that I will have a female lover some day. But it happaned cause there are some important factors.. inner values, a big sympathy, similar interests.. the most important things for a love relationship. And this results in the attraction the bird has to the dragon and vice versa.
